Idorsia fully supports expanding scientific and medical understanding in our therapeutic areas. We may provide legitimate organizations funding to advance the educational objectives of the healthcare and patient community. Here sou can find details on how to prepare and submit your funding request.

The applicant is fully responsible for the application, plan, execution and implementation, and all the subsequent activities that receives support from Idorsia, including compliance with legal and compliance regulations in your country or region. 

Funding is available only to legitimate organizations and not individuals. 

Unrestricted funding to support an accredited or non-accredited activity developed and conducted by a third-party that is educational in nature, including classes, activities, programs, or events that involve the imparting of knowledge or skills used by healthcare practitioners.

Note that non-accredited activities should still meet the same requirements as accredited activities. We invite you to submit funding requests for medical grants that provide legitimate education of healthcare professionals in our therapeutic area of interest: Insomnia and Uncontrolled Hypertension.

Funding for activities that advance the objectives of non-profit patient advocacy organizations in the disease areas of insomnia or systemic hypertension. Note that patient advocacy organizations are not eligible for funding support at this time in the US. 

An arrangement where Idorsia provides funds to an organization in return for enabling Idorsia to promote its company name to an audience or to maintain a booth, in accordance with local regulations. We invite you to submit medical sponsorship requests in our therapeutic area of interest: Insomnia and Uncontrolled Hypertension.

Requests for grant funding must be submitted to Idorsia via the Medical Grants and Sponsorship portal, at least 60 days prior to the scheduled program start date. To begin your application in our Idorsia Medical Grants and Sponsorship portal, please create a login and password or enter your existing username and password.

Please ensure that your application is written in English, with clear and transparent objectives, deliverables, milestones, and outcomes. 

Upon completion of review, requestors will be notified of the Committee’s decision via email.

Investigator-sponsored studies

Idorsia Pharmaceuticals is committed to improving patient care, through supporting scientific advances in medicine and increasing understanding of important diseases. As part of this commitment, the Investigator-sponsored study (ISS) program supports innovative clinical studies that address important medical and scientific questions related to our products and therapeutic areas of interest. These are provided as a guide but are not exclusive.

We invite you to submit funding requests for Investigator Sponsored Studies related to our strategic research areas, which are:

Additional data generation in insomnia disorder on:

  • The use of daridorexant in patients with insomnia disorder and comorbid psychiatric, neurologic and neurocognitive disorders.
  • The effect of daridorexant on sleep in specific patient populations (e.g. women in menopausal transition or in the elderly)

Data generation in other areas of scientific interest on:

  • The effect of daridorexant on sleep in particular settings (e.g. patients hospitalized, post-operative or in the ICU)
  • The effect of daridorexant in particular situations which may alter the sleep/wake cycle, such as shift working
  • The effect of daridorexant on sleep disturbances caused by other disorders, such as chronic pain

Please note that we will generally provide daridorexant and/or placebo, without additional financial support, and prioritize research programs that can deliver results within two years. We also welcome applications for exploratory studies.

 

Requests for ISS grant must be submitted to Idorsia via the Investigator Sponsored Studies portal at least 90 days prior to the scheduled study start date.
