Idorsia Pharmaceuticals is committed to improving patient care through supporting scientific advances in medicine and increasing understanding of important diseases. As part of this commitment, the ISS program supports innovative clinical studies that address important medical and scientific questions related to our products and therapeutic areas of interest.

We invite you to submit funding requests for Investigator Sponsored Studies related to our strategic research areas, which are:

Additional data generation in chronic insomnia disorder on:

• The use of daridorexant in patients with chronic insomnia disorder and comorbidities, such as the ones listed below: – depression, anxiety, asthma, mild or moderate COPD, cancer
• Switching from other hypnotics to daridorexant for the treatment of chronic insomnia disorder

Data generation in other areas of scientific interest on:

• The effect of daridorexant on sleep in hospitalized patients, patients in the ICU, post-surgery setting, care home residents (elderly/frail)
• The effect of daridorexant on particular situations, such as shift working, long-haul flights (jetlag)
• The effect of daridorexant on particular neurological disorders, such as delirium, epilepsy, restless legs syndrome, night eating syndrome

Types of eligible research

To provide daridorexant and/or placebo, without additional financial support, for:

• Interventional, exploratory research studies
• Please note that we will prioritize research programs that can deliver results within two years

How to Submit an Investigator Sponsored Study Proposal

Requests for ISS support must be submitted to Idorsia via the Investigator Sponsored Studies portal at least 90 days prior to the scheduled study start date. Please click here to access the application on the portal website

To begin your application in our Investigator Sponsored Studies Portal, please create a login and password or enter your existing username and password.  Upon completion of review, requestors will be notified of the Committee’s decision via email.
